1/4 tsp SaltThis time we’d like to introduce you to the recipe for Apple Scones.

You may often hear about scones of chocolate, cranberries, or raisins, but here we encourage you to make them with apples!

Ingredients
1  Apple 30g  Butter
300g  Cake flour 1  Egg
1 tbs  Baking powder 50cc  Plain (unsweetened) yogurt
1/4  tsp Salt 50cc  Milk
40g  Granulated sugar 20g  Raisins

Preparation
A. Place a baking sheet onto a baking pan. Heat the oven to 180 degrees C.
B. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and granulated sugar.
C. Wash the apple and quarter it into thin slices. (In the shape of a fan or gingko leaves)

Procedure:
1. Add the butter to (B), then rub it in with your fingers until the mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs. Add the apple and raisins.
2. Mix the egg, yogurt and milk in a bowl.
3. Stir in (2.) to make a soft and pliable dough. Adjust the amount of liquid. Knead gently until the dough comes together in a ball.
4. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and roll dough out into a 2 cm thickness. Cut into your favorite shapes with a sharp knife or use a glass to cut into circles. Place onto the prepared baking pan. Bake about 15 minutes in the oven until golden brown.

Crispy outside and soft inside. Less sugar makes it tastier, with a rich aroma and the flavor of apples. It is filling and good for breakfast.

Serve with honey, preserves or butter; choose as you please.
By the way, the measurement of ingredients for scones doesn’t often affect the results very much.

It’s a recommended recipe for those who are not good at measuring.
