Chewy Apple Churros ~With Apple Flavored Cheese Sauce~
Ingredients (Serves 2 to 3)
- Churros
- 180g Bread flour
- 80g Apple
- 100cc Milk
- 30g Butter
- 25g Sugar
- 1 (50g) Egg
- Oil for deep frying
- Cheese sauce
- 60g Cream cheese
- 40g Apple
- 6g Honey
Instructions
When butter is melted and just before the milk boils, add the flour. Remove from the heat. Stir well until powdery is gone.
Transfer the dough to a bowl. Add a beaten egg into the dough in several times, stirring each time.
Drain. Roll in sugar (extra), put them on a serving plate.
Tips
Apple sweetness and flavor are tasted fully since the recipe calls for grated apple in both churro and sauce. Deep frying slowly in lower temperature enables churros have good texture and taste.
• When mixing beaten egg to the batter, stop adding just before it’s loose.
• On the contrary, add some milk when it’s stiff.
• You may use a little extra amount of apple.
